 Are aphids chomping holes in the leaves of your houseplants? Japanese beetles eating their way through those beautiful rose bushes? How about rabbits devouring your azaleas? Pharm Solutions might have the answer. Offering a range of pesticide, fungicide, and weed killers, Pharm Solutions, Inc. uses only food or pharmaceutical grade ingredients such as peppermint oil, cottonseed oil, garlic extract, and organic almond oil. Most of their products are available in ready to use spray form and are suitable for houseplants as well as plants in the garden. Pharm Solutions sells Rose Pharm, Garlic Pharm  , Deer Pharm, Fish Pharm, Weed Pharm, and a few others. Rose Pharm is made with peppermint oil and apparently knocks aphids for a loop making them so dizzy they fly off--and more importantly away from your rose bushes. Fish Pharm is a fertilizer made from fermented salmon byproducts, and Weed Pharm is made with a 20% acetic acid (the same acid as vinegar) solution that’s as effective as Glyphosate, the herbicide known as Roundup. The ingredients of Deer Pharm are not revealed but in testing out this concoction, it’s safe to say that deer do not like it one bit. Remember though, sprays and concentrates using natural ingredients must be applied more frequently than synthetic ones.
